Georgians born in the USA live with at least one parent with a migration background and make up 6.7% of the population born in the United States.

Employees with a migration background fill 15% of all jobs in Georgia and contribute 14.4% of the state's economic output.

The industries in Georgia with the highest proportion of migration background workers are:

  4. Manufacturing 17%

The professions in Georgia with the highest proportion of employees with a migration background are:

  1. Manicure and pedicurists 78%
  2. Taxi driver 43%
  3. Construction worker 41%
  4. Tipper 40%
  5. Software developer 40%

Immigrants are not only employees, but also entrepreneurs and business owners who are of crucial importance for the economy and the workforce of Georgia.

108,000 immigrants in Georgia are entrepreneurs, 19.9% of the state entrepreneurs.

The household income in the immigrant in Georgia is 52.4 billion US dollars, almost all of which are attributed directly to Georgia through consumer expenses.

The deportation of Georgian workers will rob the health insurance funds of almost 929 million US dollars of tax revenueWhat makes it more difficult to provide all residents fundamental services to damage all employees and families in our state.
