Updates from Georgia’s new AD – The Athletic

GREENSBORO, Ga. – Josh Brooks’ first face-to-face board meeting as Georgia’s Sports Director was held in a large conference room at a posh resort, the Ritz Charlton on Lake Oconee. There was a stylistic difference from his predecessor: while Greg McGarity was reading a prepared report from the sports director, Brooks was reading and speaking out of date with a PowerPoint presentation to accompany him and the board.

It wasn’t just what Brooks said, however, as much of the content was different. Part of it is changing circumstances. But some of them, which came in discussion with reporters after the meeting, suggested a change in philosophy.

“Strategic Vision” for Institutions

Georgia is approaching a master plan for facilities, although that precise term is not used.
