Trump’s prosecutor in Georgia: ‘I have become very private about my family because of the threats’

The Georgia prosecutor in former President Donald Trump’s election fraud case said she and her family have received threats because of their work.

“It’s very unfair to other people and a waste of time. “It’s not going to stop what I’m doing,” Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis said at an event over the weekend, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Willis said private information from family members and even her ex-husband was shared online and subjected to harassment and threatening messages.

“It was very disturbing,” she said. “Because of the threats, I became very reserved around my family.”

Willis isn’t the only person involved in Trump’s Georgia case facing threats: names and addresses of grand jury members who indicted the former president have been published online.

Atlanta’s police chief also spoke about the threats Willis faced. Law enforcement confirmed that Willis and her family members posted their names, dates of birth, addresses, jobs and other personal information online.
