Georgia Barendregt Mann, 87, of Elizabeth City, NC, died Tuesday March 22, 2022 at her home. She was born on August 6, 1934 in E. Grand Rapids, MI to the late Gysbert and Bertha DeGraaf Barendregt and was the widow of Robert Miller Mann.
She is survived by two daughters, Linda Mann Markham of Columbia, NC and Glynda Mann O’Connell (Kevin) of DeLand, FL; a sister, Barbara Adams; five grandchildren, Jason Markham (Cindy), Blair Markham (Maggy), Daniel Fincher (Beth), Timothy East (Brooke), and Courtney Davis (Chris); and fifteen great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Irene Fitzpatrick, and a brother, William “Bill” Barendregt; and her son-in-law, Thomas A. “Tommy” Markham, Jr.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 27, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Highland Park Cemetery with Rev. F. Joe Griffith.
