The Georgian parliament has passed the new amnesty law

A new amnesty law was posted on the Legislative Herald of Georgia website on January 11, 2021.
The law lays down a list of criminal offenses for which convicted persons are exempted from criminal liability or commuted to lighter sentences.
The law came into force when it was published.
