The Augusta Press encourages and welcomes reader comments; However, we request that this be done in a respectful manner, and we have discretion to determine which comments violate our comment policy. We also reserve the right to hide, remove, and/or prohibit the publication of your comments.
The types of comments that are not permitted on our website include:
- Threats of harm or violence
- Obscenity, profanity or vulgarity, including images or links to such materials
- Racist comments
- Shaming and/or blaming the victim
- name-calling and/or personal attacks;
- Comments whose primary purpose is to sell a product or promote a commercial website or service;
- Comments that infringe copyright;
- Spam comments, such as the same comment posted repeatedly on a profile.
