Fort Stewart, Ga. (WGXA) – According to the US Army, a family was found dead in a house in Fort Stewart in the southeast of Georgia.
A family of four in Fort Stewart was found dead on Wednesday in her home in her post, according to Fort Stewart.
The Army's criminal police and Fort Stewart's military said that the deceased was a soldier, her male spouse and her two children.
The officials discovered that the family was dead in their house after inquiries about a social check had been killed on Wednesday.
The police said they were in the postal origin at home around 2 p.m. to contact the soldiers. When entering the house, the law enforcement authorities did not find the family inside. They were all declared dead around 5:30 p.m.
Fort Stewart officials said this was an isolated incident and there is no threat to the community.
