Susan Pamela Epps, 66, of Marietta, Georgia, passed away on September 22, 2023 in Marietta. She was born on December 12, 1956 in Marietta to Herbert and Rachel Chumley. Susan was preceded in death by her father, mother and stepfather, Glenn McCampbell; sister Brenda West and daughter Ashley Barksdale.
Susan is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Tim Epps. her daughters Michelle Haustein (Dave Haustein) and Margie Acuff (Bill Acuff); her son-in-law Cobb Barksdale and her brother Ken Chumley (Shelley Carroll). She was also cherished by her three grandchildren, Gavin Barksdale, Ava Barksdale and Charlie Haustein.
Susan will be remembered for her unwavering support and commitment to her family. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and was always there to offer advice and support. Susan was an avid UGA football fan and always cheered on her Dawgs with passion and enthusiasm.
A memorial service honoring Susan’s life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 7, at Hillcrest Baptist Church in Acworth. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society. Your support will help in the ongoing fight against cancer and honor Susan’s memory.
