The following is a list of states whose laws recognize a gun carrier license in Georgia.
Alabama, Alaska*, Arkansas, Arizona*, Colorado*, Florida*, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana*, Maine, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, New Hampshire, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia*, West Virginia, Wisconsin* and Wyoming.
CAUTION! Georgia gun license holders should familiarize themselves with the individual Georgia gun license requirements and limitations of each of the states in which they wish to exercise their rights. Gun laws vary from state to state, and other states may have local or provincial ordinances regulating guns. Also, please note that states may recognize Georgia firearms licenses but do not recognize licenses for other weapons such as knives.
*Alaska, Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Louisiana, Virginia and Wisconsin only recognize Georgia licenses issued to persons 21 and older.
