SOUTH FULTON, Georgia (AP) – A woman wanted for a murder in North Carolina was found Sunday in Georgia with her two-year-old son, police said.

Camille Singleton, 31, was arrested in a Walmart, according to a press release from the South Fulton Police Department. She is a suspect in the murder of Inita Gaither in Clayton, North Carolina.

Officials answered a call about a suspicious person in the store at around 11:30 a.m. on Sunday and confirmed it was Singleton. Her son – the subject of an AMBER Alert issued on Friday – was found unharmed. He was placed in the care of family members.

Gaither, 68, was found dead in her home Thursday by social screening officials. She and Singleton were related, according to police.

Police said Sunday afternoon that Singleton would be taken to Fulton County Jail in Atlanta before extradited to North Carolina. It wasn’t immediately clear whether she’d hired a lawyer.
