Robert H. Smalley III of McCamy Phillips Tuggle & Fordham LLP of Dalton was re-elected to the Board of Governors of the 54,000-member State Bar of Georgia.
Smalley will continue to serve on the Conasauga Judicial Circuit, taking second place on the board, representing Murray and Whitfield counties.
He received his law degree from the University of Georgia School of Law and was admitted to the Georgia bar in 1992. His legal practice focuses on wrongful death, personal injury, workers compensation, local government law and commercial disputes and alternative dispute resolution. He also serves as the District Attorney for Whitfield County.
The Board of Governors is the 160-member policy-making body of the Public Prosecutor’s Office, representing all judicial circles of Georgia. The Board of Directors holds regular meetings at least four times a year.
