COBB COUNTY, Ga. — As Six Flags Over Georgia reopened Saturday, Channel 2 Action News learned a series of fights had broken out at the amusement park.
Days later, it’s still unclear if any of the teenagers have been arrested and charged, or if any of them will be allowed to return to the amusement park.
Justin Clayton and his family visited the park on Saturday and said he saw several groups of teenagers fighting in front of them.

“Ahead of us, a group of probably 60 teenagers just started fighting,” Clayton said. “Security seemed quiet for about five to six minutes; 45 minutes later there were three more fights in front of us and it was the same group of teenagers.”

The park released the following statement to Channel 2 Action News:
“Unfortunately, tonight, several groups of young people decided to behave inappropriately in more than one area of the park. Your actions disrupted the parking experience for our guests and violated our parking policies; As a result, those involved were removed from the property. We have absolutely no tolerance for inappropriate behavior. Safety for our guests and our team members is our top priority. Unruly behavior will not be tolerated.
It’s unclear if there are plans to increase security or if the teenagers allegedly involved in the fight will be allowed to return to the amusement park when asked about it on Monday, the park released the statement to Channel 2 action news:
“We evaluate our safety and security protocols on a daily basis. Our leadership team, public safety team and local law enforcement are always ready to respond immediately to any situation if necessary. We will continue to work together to enforce our policies and code of conduct while maintaining zero tolerance for inappropriate behavior. Additionally, we will continue to work with law enforcement and any further inquiries should be directed to them,” said Dedra Brown-Harvey, communications manager for Six Flags Over Georgia.
Channel 2 Action News Cobb County Bureau Chief Michele Newell asked the Cobb County Police Department if any of the teens had been arrested and charged. The public information officer did not have that information when requested Monday.
