Scofflaw has committed over $ 400,000 in donations through partnerships such as Giving Kitchen and Bottleshare
We are excited to extend our partnership with Giving Kitchen. Their mission is in line with Scofflaw’s continued commitment to serving hospitality workers, including our own. “

ATLANTA, GA, UNITED STATES, Aug 19, 2021 /EINPresswire.com/ – SCOFFLAW BREWING CO. is pleased to announce a new agreement with GIVING KITCHEN, a nonprofit that provides emergency assistance to food service workers in Georgia and Tennessee. A portion of every keg purchased from SCOFFLAW distributors by the end of 2021 will be used to fund GIVING KITCHEN initiatives. For SCOFFLAW, this is a continuation of the past 18 months of contributions to support hotel staff in communities where their products are sold.
“We are happy to extend our partnership with GIVING KITCHEN. Their mission is in line with SCOFFLAW BREWING COMPANY’s continued commitment to helping hospitality employees, including our own. These people made our industry and SCOFFLAW what they are today, but they continue to face the most difficult circumstances imaginable, ”says MATTHEW SHIRAH, founder of SCOFFLAW Brewing Co., who is recognized for his award with Received the South Carolina Restaurant and Lodging Association’s Outstanding Community Leader Award Commitment to Giving Back. (February 2021)
“We are MATT SHIRAH and SCOFFLAW BREWING CO. grateful, not only for their generous financial commitment, but also for spreading the message that GIVING KITCHEN helps food service employees, ”says GIVING KITCHEN’s co-founder and Senior Director of Community Engagement, JEN HIDINGER-KENDRICK. “As we are working to create a community in which crises are met with compassion and care, we want every employee in the hospitality industry to know that they can ask GK for help. As our community continues to face devastating challenges, partnerships like this hope the commitment we share to empower our community when it needs it most. ”
SCOFFLAW and GIVING KITCHEN, both founded in Atlanta, are working together to promote the agency’s mission across Georgia and most recently in Tennessee, where both organizations recently expanded their regional markets. GIVING KITCHEN expects to add more states as resources allow.
With this agreement, SCOFFLAW has committed over $ 400,000 in donations through partnerships such as GIVING KITCHEN, ATL Family Meal and Bottleshare in Georgia, KultureCity in Alabama, and the South Carolina Restaurant and Lodging Association as of March 2020. With each partnership, SCOFFLAW is committed to supporting hospitality workers who need financial support.
This news follows SCOFFLAW’s announcement earlier this year that Wade Honeycutt has joined the company as chief financial officer. With more than a decade of experience advising beverage brands around the world, Wade has sourced and structured debt and equity transactions in the US, UK, Europe and Asia. Most recently he worked with well-known beer brands such as Dogfish Head, New Belgium, Stone, BrewDog and Beavertown.
This year SCOFFLAW celebrates its fifth anniversary. They commemorate the milestone in typical SCOFFLAW fashion by holding a family-friendly celebration called the SCOFFLAW Fifth Freaking Anniversary Party at their brewery, 1738 MacArthur Blvd NW, Atlanta, GA.
