The Corona Relief, Aid and Economic Security Act (CARES) of 2020 requires employers to inform everyone about the availability of unemployment insurance (UI) at the time of separation. Georgia Department of Labor (GDOL), Separation Notice, DOL-800, has been revised and expanded to include information about potential unemployment benefits and instructions on how to apply. Please discard earlier versions immediately and start using the updated 7/21 version.
