INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Georgia police are continuing to search for Ciera Breland, who was reported missing in Carmel on February 26.

Breland’s husband, Xavier Breland Jr., reported her missing shortly after the couple left for Georgia to visit family.

Not long after Ciera Breland’s disappearance, Carmel police said they didn’t think she ever made it back to Indiana, prompting an investigation by Georgia police.

Johns Creek, Georgia police confirmed to News 8 on Wednesday that the last place Breland was captured on video was at her mother-in-law’s home at Highgate Manor Court in Johns Creek. Investigators would not share the video with News 8 or reveal details of what it shows.

Police tell News 8 they searched for Breland in the Chattahoochee River in Georgia. Searchers went into the water and also used helicopters and drones, but did not find Breland.

Xavier Breland Jr. has been named as a person of interest in the disappearance of Ciera Breland and is in prison in Georgia, where he is being charged on another count.
