Mr. William “Mitch” Mitchell, aged 59, from Warthen passed away on Saturday, July 8, 2023. A visit will be made in honor of his life on Tuesday, July 11, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Funeral Home May and Smith.
Mr. Mitchell was born on September 3, 1963 in Smyrna, Georgia to the late William C. Mitchell Jr. and the late Janet Kelly Jones. Mitch was an avid hunter and fisherman. He has spent the last 10 years traveling and training competition retrievers with his wife.
Mr. Mitchell is survived by his wife, Elaine Hyatt Mitchell; son Chris Mitchell (Jamie Garrett) of Davisboro; Brother Charles McRoy Mitchell (Dawn) of Villa Rica; mother-in-law Ruth Hyatt from Warthen; brother-in-law Charles Hyatt (Kay) of Lithia Springs; and many other family and friends.
