Georgia L. Mullins, 67, of Sugar Grove, IL, died on June 1, 2023 surrounded by family at her home. She was born on August 28, 1955 in Jolo, West Virginia to John and Rose (Hess) Beavers. Mrs. Mullins married Mr. Macel Mullins Sr. on July 21, 1969 and they spent the next 51 years happily married until he passed away in 2021. Georgia was a life member of the Lebanon Full Gospel Church, in Aurora, IL. Previously, she worked as an assistant supervisor in sales. Georgia was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt who will be sorely missed by her family and friends. Georgia is survived by her children, Sheila Mullins and Michael (Holly) Mullins, both of Sugar Grove, IL; daughter-in-law, Andrea Smith Mullins, of Marseille, IL; her grandchildren Joshua (Emily) Rodriguez, Alexsis (Luke Borden) Mullins, Olivia (John) Forister, Logan Mullins, Hunter Mullins, Lily Mullins and Emily Mullins; her great-grandchildren Maci Borden and Riker Forister; her siblings, Robert Beavers from NC, Wilma (Ronald “Red”) Walters from NC and Darlene Morgan from VA; sister-in-law Wilma Beavers; as well as many nieces and nephews. Before Georgia her parents died; her husband Macel Mullins, Sr.; her son Macel Mullins, Jr.; as well as her brothers Johny, Tommy, Gene and Ernie Beavers. The funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 4, 2023 at the Nelson Funeral Home, 1617 North Bridge Street, Yorkville, IL, conducted by Rev. Iva Bishop.
