Mrs. Mary McKinney Harbin Gore of Rome passed away on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at Emory University Hospital.
Ms. Gore was born July 13, 1939, in Center, Alabama, the daughter of the late James Ernest McKinney and the late Sarah Inez Law McKinney. She worked and retired from General Electric. Mary was a loyal Alabama fan, but her favorite activity was spending time with her fur baby, Ginger.
She is survived by her husband, Allen Gore; her brother Billy Wayne McKinney (Linda Gail); her 4 stepchildren; her nephews Brian McKinney (Candice) and Jimmy McKinney (Judy); her nieces Linda Pickelsimer, Gayla Plott (Rusty), Judy Bailey, Freida Walker (Johnny) and Cheryl Pace; a host of great- and great-great-grandnephews and nieces; her fur baby, Ginger; and her close friend Ricki Dorman.
