Luxottica is accused of getting carried out an anti-union campaign in Georgia

Law360 (July 15, 2021, 5:46 p.m. EDT) – Four groups of workers announced Thursday that they had filed a complaint against Italian eyewear maker Luxottica, accusing it of running an anti-union organizing campaign in its manufacturing and sales center in Georgia .

Luxottica “unleashed an aggressive, terrifying campaign” aimed at stifling workers’ organizing rights, the groups said in a statement. They also claim that management in Paris and Milan failed to ensure compliance with the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development guidelines for multinational corporations.
