Fulton County prosecutors will be investigating a call from Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) to Georgian Foreign Secretary Brad Raffensperger that came ten days after the presidential election, a Washington Post source said. On the call, Lindsey asked Raffensperger if he could discount ballot papers. The prosecution’s investigation into the appeal will be part of a larger criminal investigation into efforts by Trump and his friends to pressure Georgian officials to invalidate the 2020 presidential election results. Graham’s Communications Director Kevin Bishop called the investigation “ridiculous” and added, “Sen. Graham asked how the signature verification process worked.”
