Lin Wood loses lawsuit over Georgia Bar’s request for mental examination

L. Lin Wood’s challenge to a request by the Georgia Attorney’s Office that he undergo a mental health evaluation as part of an investigation into a complaint against him does not belong in federal court, the Eleventh Circuit said.

Wood was part of former President Donald Trump’s legal team that tried to overturn the 2020 election. According to the Bar Association, former colleagues of Wood’s said he exhibited “unexpected, abusive and unprofessional behavior” and that he “physically assaulted two of them on separate occasions and threatened to do so again.”
