Who Was Officer Desai?

Henry County Officer’s sister Paramhans Desai says he just wanted to be a cop.

“His job was everything. When he wasn’t working, he would talk to us about his job. He tried to be an investigator, but he just didn’t like it. He said cop is how I want to die,” said Divya Desai.

Desai said her brother led a disciplined life, stayed healthy, and exercised regularly. She said he enjoyed new exercise equipment.

He was also filled with love for his family, wife and young children.

The two boys are now trying to understand why their father is no longer with them.

Divya Desai and her younger brother were born in India, lived in Ohio, but later both settled in Georgia.
