ATLANTA, Georgia (WGCL) – One-year-old Blaise Barnett was reunited with his family after being safely found Thursday afternoon.

The toddler has been missing since the SUV he was in was stolen outside his family’s apartment in Clarkston at around 1am on Wednesday.

Investigators said a woman who lives on Rogers Street found the little boy in her van when she went to their driveway on Thursday afternoon. She took him inside and called the police.

Birmingham Police are looking for the missing 63-year-old woman, last seen in May

According to police, the child appears to be in good condition. He was taken to the hospital for an examination.

It was an emotional reunion the first time Blaise’s family saw him at the police station.

“He still looks the same, he’s safe, he’s home, that’s all I wanted. Thank you, thank you, ”said Blaise’s mother Deonna Bray.
