COCHRAN, Ga. – According to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, a teenager who disappeared Tuesday was found safe in Illinois.
Officials say 13-year-old Natasha Brown was last seen at her home in the Violet Street area of Cochran, Georgia, around 4 p.m. Tuesday.
According to investigators, Natasha told her family that she was going for a walk and then disappeared.
On Saturday morning, the GBI announced that they had been contacted by law enforcement in Springfield, Illinois to say that Brown has been found and is safe.
The investigation into Brown’s disappearance is still ongoing.
