Kim Zolciak’s Georgia mansion auction postponed… ‘What the heck?‘
Kim Zolciaks The Georgia mansion is no longer in the auction block for the time being.
Law firm Brock & Scott, PLLC confirmed to All About The Tea that the auction scheduled for March 7 is currently canceled and declined to provide further information.
As reported Kim And Kroy Biermanns The six-bedroom, nine-bathroom home in Alpharetta, Georgia was auctioned on February 22. There is no new date for the sale of the house, but the law firm has declined to give a reason for the cancellation.
According to a Fulton County foreclosure notice released Wednesday, Truist Bank was scheduled to auction the mansion March 7 at the Fulton County Courthouse. The foreclosure results from Kim and her husband Kroy Bierman – Defaulted on the $1.65 million loan they took out to purchase the home on October 23, 2012.
All about the tea reached out to a real estate attorney, who explained that removing the home from the auction block does not mean the home is not in foreclosure proceedings. What the action means is that the couple may be in the process of: 1) arranging a short sale with the bank, 2) preparing for Chapter 13 bankruptcy, or 3) having worked out another deal with the bank to pay their debts resume mortgage in addition to the outstanding arrears.
The couple purchased the golf course home in 2012 for $880,000 and then went straight to work gutting it and creating their dream home for their extended family. The couple defaulted on the $1.65 million loan they took out to purchase the home on October 23, 2012. On February 22, 2023, a notice was filed with Fulton County Records by Truist Bank, formerly SunTrust Bank.
According to Fulton County records, Truist Bank began the foreclosure proceedings Zolciak-Biermanns 7,186 square feet. Alpharetta, Georgia in August 2022 and plans to auction the property on March 7, 2023 at the Fulton County Courthouse.
