Kim Kardashian is once again campaigning for reports that Gunna is reportedly not being named in relation to a crime or in any of the offerings from witnesses testifying in the case.
On September 28, reports surfaced that the rapper’s attorneys were seeking a third attempt at the bond. A decision on the rapper’s bail has yet to be made, and prosecutors have yet to respond to the rapper’s record. Among those who reacted to the news was Kim Kardashian, who shared a prayer emoji on Twitter. It was the caption of a screenshot reflecting the news. The post received 126,000 likes.
Kim K also shared another reaction to the recent law passed by Gov. Gavin Newsom on Sept. 30, where she called on Georgia to pass similar legislation to protect rap lyrics from being used in criminal cases against rappers.
In a tweet, she wrote: “Amazing news from CA – great work @GavinNewsom! It’s your turn, Georgia! #FreeGunna.”
This is the second time Kim has endorsed K Gunna. She had already shared her thoughts on her case in her Instagram story in July.

“#FreeGunna,” she wrote, along with the P emoji Gunna used to associate with his song “Pushing P.”
For Gunna, Kim Kardashian’s endorsement draws attention to his case. While not yet a lawyer, her influence on reform issues is undeniable.
A decision on Gunna’s release has yet to be made, but his lawyers believe he has good reason to seek bail. His attorneys allege that prosecutors amended the RICO indictment, which originally named Gunna, removing his name in relation to each violent crime in the indictment, as well as from testimony shared through September at the discovery.
Gunna was previously unsuccessful in securing bail because Fulton County Superior Court Judge Ural Glanville denied two previous requests.
Gunna and his YSL frontman Young Thug have been behind bars since May this year when federal authorities took them into custody and later hit them and several YSL members with RICO charges. The two rappers have both pleaded innocent, but the Fulton County Attorney managed to get some members of the “hybrid gang” to testify against them.
How will supporting Kim Kardashian affect the case? Only time can tell.
