C.All in all, great legal baking. Every time she hit a milestone in the grueling leadership election at Freshfields law firm, Georgia Dawson celebrated by baking cakes with her children.
“It was pretty intense,” she says of the senior partner competition that takes place every five years and runs for months before a vote. She had to balance the campaign with her job as a managing partner in Asia. So she unwinded with the family in the kitchen at the weekend – “cakes and pies, cookies, brownies, cupcakes”.
