Improve the communication and interpersonal skills of Georgia Labor Inspectorate personnel

The Georgian Labor Inspection Office (LIO) recently took a significant initiative to improve its effectiveness and public image by organizing five intensive training sessions on persuasive communication and interpersonal skills in June and July 2024. These meetings were attended by nearly 100 labor inspectors and LIO leaders. You will acquire valuable techniques to improve your interactions with employers, employees and colleagues.

Participants reported that the specialized training significantly improved their interpersonal skills, which are critical to fulfilling the LIO mandate and promoting labor rights in Georgia. They emphasized that the LIO, as a relatively new legal entity, needs to further develop these skills of its employees in order to carry out its tasks effectively. Strengthening these capabilities will enable the institution to better protect labor rights, thereby contributing to a fairer and more equitable work environment across the country.
