BULLOCH COUNTY, Ga. (WSAV) – A family of three was killed in a violent crash on Interstate 16 in Bulloch County on Sunday.
According to Jake Futch, Coroner in Bulloch County, Dr. Jaroy and Elisia Stuckey and their son AJ identified as victims. Dr. Stuckey was the director of Dublin High School and a graduate of Georgia Southern University.

“This loss will certainly raise a lot of emotions, concerns and questions for our entire school, especially our students. To say we are heartbroken is a real understatement, ”a statement from Dublin City Schools read in part.
School officials said Monday was a day of mourning for the entire district. A memorial was erected at the entrance to the high school and counselors were provided for students, parents and staff.
According to the Georgia Department of Transportation, the crash occurred shortly before 3 p.m. near mile marker 137 in the westbound lanes of the interstate.
The Georgia State Patrol said a semi truck hauling a tanker left the Stuckeys’ car, which crashed into another truck. Another car was hit by the second truck and the tanker caught fire.
I-16 was secured for several hours when police investigated the crash and a shooting incident a few miles away.
Autopsies are performed by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, according to Futch.
