Blake Harbin explains why Joe Bidens potential gun control ideas could be dangerous to the American people.
MILTON, Ga., April 11, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ — The Sacramento The police department continues to investigate the deadly mass shooting that took place over the past weekend, resulting in six dead and 12 injured. When suspects in the shooting are arrested, an interesting topic arose – gang violence.
All five suspects arrested so far have gang links, with the shootings taking place after an altercation between them. Details are still sketchy, such as Sacramento Police continue to receive information from witnesses and video footage from social media.
In order to, Blake Harbinwho not only serves as CEO of Houzzle Financial but is currently running for the seat georgia 6th congressional district, announced its full support Sacramento Police on the matter – and raised questions about whether gun control is the answer.
“Criminals can and will continue to be criminals,” Harbin said, adding, “It is absolutely ridiculous to use tragedy like this to crack down on gun violence. The only people affected by these theoretical laws are law-abiding citizens who have a right to defend themselves and ‘keep and bear arms’ as promised in the constitution of our great country.”
Harbin believes some of this may also be related to illegal immigration, which has fueled a rise in criminal activity over the years. Actually in Georgia At the same time, illegal immigrants have cost the state $2.4 billion. That’s a fraction of California’s $21.76 billion Cost, it’s a number that’s hard to ignore.
“The weapons that have been used in recent years Sacramento Gunshots were not just stolen from gang members, they were modified to the point where they would have been illegal when converted to automatic rifles,” Harbin explained. “Anyone can get their hands on one, even immigrants.”
The story goes on
president Joe Biden recently offered a proposed solution to limit future mass shootings, such as Sacramento Tragedy to tighten private gun ownership laws. However, the 2nd Amendment to the Constitution clearly states that citizens have the right to bear arms, primarily to protect themselves from criminals.
Not to mention that Harbin believes that taking away guns is not the solution as it would render some citizens unable to resist such an issue. “Rather than transform current lawful gun owners by criminalizing guns, we must keep firearms in people’s hands to protect their families and communities from criminals, whether they are in gangs or lone wolves trying to get into our homes or breaking into businesses.”
Harbin once again spoke out in favor of the police, believing they would have their hands full if Biden’s anti-gun laws went into effect, stating, “Passing laws banning citizens from owning guns would do it.” allow gangs to ruthlessly treat us all, including who knows how many people are illegal in this country. Imagine the scenario. Formerly law-abiding armed citizens would become ‘criminals’.”
He continued: “If private gun ownership was illegal and someone broke into my house and I chased them away, I would be taken to prison for stopping a crime. We must not allow bad politicians to use emotions to hand over the gun to legislation.”
In doing so, Harbin pointed to a recent story in which a consumer in Philadelphia was able to stop a suspected robber with a registered firearm. The state was currently embarking on something that would allow more citizens to obtain guns much more efficiently in hopes of halting the rising crime rate.
“Philadelphia provides an interesting example of how private individuals can make a difference against criminals,” Harbin noted. “It would be great if more states did this. For example, Georgia currently has a higher property crime rate than the national level by around 17 percent. As more citizens are able to take action against criminals, we might see a difference.
“If more citizens acted in such a goodwill manner, we would be in a much safer place,” Harbin concluded.
