The city of South Fulton, Georgia officially declared September 16 Gunna Day.
The rapper posted photos and videos of the ceremony where he was honored by Mayor Bill Edwards, who read an announcement mentioning Gunna’s successful career as an artist, raised by a single mother with his four brothers and encouraging the community .
On the same day, Gunna’s Drip Closet made his debut at his former school, Robert McNair Middle School in College Park. Everything inside is free for students.
