GSP Trooper Cadet passes Training Exercise • The Georgia Virtue

The Georgia Department of Public Safety announced Friday that a Trooper Cadet has died.

The 113th Trooper School Trooper Cadet passed the service during training.

Trooper Cadet Patrick Dupree #847, along with other members of the 113th Trooper School, conducted a training exercise Thursday, September 8, 2022 at the Georgia Public Safety Training Center. Upon completion of the exercise, Trooper Cadet Dupree collapsed, saving his life. Measures were taken by trained medical personnel on site. Trooper Cadet Dupree was taken to a local hospital where he died.
