By Emily Field (March 22, 2022 at 8:48 p.m. EDT) — Another opioid trial, this one in a Georgia state court, regarding lawsuits against drug dealers brought by families damaged by opioid addiction, has been postponed after it was scheduled to begin Monday.
Jurors who were summoned to appear in Glynn County Superior Court Monday and Tuesday were told they had been excused and were not required to appear, according to a notice on the court’s website. A court clerk told Law360 that “attorney conflict” caused the delay.
