Georgia stories greater than 7 million vaccines administered

May 23 – ATLANTA – Georgia reported that more than seven million citizens were vaccinated on Sunday, according to health officials.

Georgia reported an additional 306 confirmed COVID-19 cases on Sunday, according to the Georgian Ministry of Health.

The state has recorded 893,422 confirmed cases.

The state has reported 17,930 virus-related deaths since the pandemic began, with no increase since the previous day.

According to COVID-19, there were 63,189 hospital admissions and 10,431 intensive care units in Georgia due to COVID-19 based on government health data.

Antigen-positive cases were 226,557, an increase of 59 from the previous day, while the probable deaths related to COVID-19 according to GDPH are 2,731.

More than 8.6 million PCR / molecular tests have been performed, resulting in a positive rate of 10.0%.
