Georgia reported fewer than 300 new instances on Thursday

June 4 – ATLANTA – Georgia confirmed COVID-19 cases rose by 272 Thursday, according to the Georgia Department of Public Health.

The state reported 896,894 cases and 18,103 virus-related deaths on Wednesday, an increase of 18, the data said.

Hospital admissions rose 67 to 63,936, so-called dates. According to GDPH, there have been 10,605 admissions in the intensive care unit since the beginning of the pandemic.

Antigen-positive cases totaled 228,123 while there were 2,797 probable deaths, according to the data.

Georgia’s vaccinated population is approximately 7.42 million, with 71,385 people being vaccinated for every 100,000 people.
