Georgia Calvert Onan died on July 13, 2021 at the age of 100.
Services will be held on Monday, July 19, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at the Harrod Brothers Funeral Home, with Dr. Mike Hamrick officiates. The burial takes place in the Sunset Memorial Gardens. The visitation takes place on Monday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Harrod Brothers burial house.
Georgia Onan
Ms. Onan was born on September 6, 1920 in Frankfurt as the daughter of the late James Marion Calvert and Amelia Fannie Lewis Calvert. She retired from Sears after many years as Division Sales Manager.
Ms. Onan was a member of the Bellepoint Baptist Church. She enjoyed time travel and handicrafts, especially beading, crocheting and quilting. Most of all, she loved her family and grandchildren.
She leaves behind her children Larry O’Nan (Lois) and Ronnie O’nan; Grandson, Alex Morra (Becca), Pam Nicholas (Jason), Angela Crouch (Holland), Jennifer Lee (Anthony) and TJ O’nan (Laura); and great-grandchildren, Bella Morra, Nina Morra, Libby Morra, Holly Crouch, Zach Crouch, Lauren Crouch, Jessica Nicholas, Isaiah Lee, Hannah Lee, Ellery O’nan, Lyle O’nan, and a beloved baby on the way.
Besides her parents, her daughter Rose Marie Morra preceded her in death; Daughter-in-law Ellen O’nan; and sisters Lewis Etta Ballard and Vena Baker.
Serving as pallbearers will be a family.
Instead of flowers, a charity of your choice can also be declared.
