Georgia moves to extend the Medicaid exceptional report with work requirements

The state of Georgia applied for to extend its controversial Medicaid expansion program, which includes a work request for qualified adults.

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services announced this week that they received the application in Georgia on April 28 to extend its way to the coverage program by at least five years.

The program extends the cover of Medicaid to people who make up to 100% of the federal armutive level. Adult applicants who meet the admission threshold are necessary to maintain and report 80 hours of “qualification hours and activities” (QHA) per month, including traditional employment, vocational training, career rehabilitation, non -profit service, …
