(LINCOLN) The funeral of Georgia Motis Bowen Pike, 84, of Lincoln, formerly of Roanoke, will take place on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at noon at the Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Bro. Curry Harris in office. The funeral will follow in Randolph Memory Gardens.
The family will be greeted with friends at the funeral home on the Wednesday before the service, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Mrs. Pike died at her home on Saturday, December 11th.
Ms. Pike was from the Napoleonic Congregation and was born on February 22, 1937 to Charlie Elmer and Minnie Lee Scott Bowen. She was a Faith Baptist and a homemaker.
Survivors include their daughter, Vickie M. Brown, of Lincoln; Son, Rickey G. Pike (Pam) of Trussville; Son-in-law, Charles Davis of Center; six grandchildren, Chris Pike, Stacey Langley, Page Pike, Dixie Summers, Misty Brown, and Chase Pike; seven great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson. Mrs. Pike was preceded in death by her parents; Husband, Gene Pike; Daughter, Marilyn Davis; Son-in-law, Gary Brown; Great granddaughter Amberlyn Pike; Sisters, Dorothy “Dot” Moore and Margie “Ruth” Harris; and brothers, Robert E. “Buck” Bowen, Harold “Gene” Bowen, Fred Bowen and Charlie Ray Bowen.
Pallbearers will be Chris Pike, Chase Pike, Bryan Brown, Nelson Summers, Grant Summers, and Bradley Nelson. Riley Pike becomes a volunteer pallbearer.
