On behalf of the Georgia Attorney General’s Office, I write to express my condolences to the family, colleagues and many friends of longtime Savannah attorney and 1972-73 State Attorney General Frank W. “Sonny” Seiler following his recent death at the age of 90 died .

Mr. Seiler has been a member of the Georgia bar since 1958 and practiced law at Bouhan, Williams and Levy, now Bouhan Falligant, specializing in civil defense and plaintiff work. In addition to his distinguished legal career, Mr. Seiler served as President of the University of Georgia National Alumni Association and was known throughout the state and in the world of college athletics as the owner of the generation of English Bulldogs who served as UGA’s popular mascot, Uga.
