On behalf of the Georgia Attorney’s Office, I would like to offer my condolences to the family, colleagues and many friends of longtime Atlanta attorney Alfred L. Mullins Jr. on his death at the age of 82.
Mr. Mullins has been a Georgia attorney since 1965 and is a partner at Swift, Currie, McGhee & Hiers and later at Cashin, Morton & Mullins. He has served in the legal profession for more than 20 years as a member of the Board of Governors of the State Bar of Georgia, as a member of the State Disciplinary Committee, as a founding director of the Council of Young Lawyers of the Atlanta Bar Association, and as an Adjunct Professor of Law at the Emory School of Law and as a founding board member and past president of the Southeastern Bankruptcy Law Institute.
