Georgia (Judy) Faye Love Walling ||  obituary

our beloved mother, Georgia (Judy) Faye Love Wallingformerly of Paris, entered the kingdom of God on August 1, 2023 at her residence in Lubbock.

The funeral service is scheduled for 2 p.m. on Saturday, August 5, 2023 at the Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home and will be conducted by the Rev. Brad Michael. Burial will follow in Little Vine Cemetery. Friends are received by family one hour before the service.

Georgia (Judy) was born on April 6, 1944 to Barney L. and Jeanette E. Collins Love in Delta County, Texas. Georgia (Judy) loved many crafts such as jigsaw puzzles, sewing and embroidery, especially making pot holders for her family and friends, making stained glass crafts, gardening and planting flowers in her yard. She attended Victory Baptist Church in Hugo, Oklahoma before moving to Lubbock in late 2020.

Georgia (Judy) joins her parents and her two sisters, Wanda Hunter and Jackie Gay, in God’s Kingdom. She is survived by many loving family members including three children: son John Dewayne Goley and Mary of Lubbock; son, Jeffery Glenn Goley of Lubbock; daughter Georgia Goley and Johnny of Hugo, Oklahoma; three grandchildren, Angela Pede and Shawn from Temple, Kristi Sims and Demetrius from Ft. Smith, Arkansas, Matthew Goley and Kristin of Lubbock; eight great-grandchildren who were the apple of her eye; six sisters, MayDell Dodd from Brownwood, Texas, Helen Esch from Paris, Arlene Weeks from Cooper, Bettye Edwards and Johnny from Paris, Sherry Jenkins and Dewayne from Sumner, and Sandy Love from Paris; She leaves behind a multitude of nieces and nephews who knew her as “Aunt Tootie Fruitie”, a nickname given to her by one of her late brothers-in-law, Roy Micheal; She is also survived by Mitchell Britton of Lubbock who was a special part of her nursing team.

The pallbearers will be Frankie Elliot, Stacy Cunningham, Bryce Cunningham, David Micheal, Mike Hunter and Matthew Goley. Honorary pallbearers are Dusty Micheal, Ryan Micheal, Cameron Goley, Aiden Sims and Kashion Sims.
