New data showed that Tennessee is the state with the highest discrimination in the workplace.
An investigation of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), which was carried out by lawyers in Eldessouky Law, showed which states all over America have the highest discrimination due to the workplace and the three most common types of discrimination in every state.
The data analyzed the latest data record from EEOC, which shows the total number of discrimination fees in the workplace submitted in 2021. A discrimination rate was then calculated by measuring the total number of the charges of each state against its respective population.
The data showed that “retribution” is the most common form of discrimination. The retaliation is when employers, managers or other company managers take disciplinary measures against an employee due to formal complaint about harassment or discrimination at the workplace. Employees across America are legally protected if they submit complaints about harassment at the workplace, so that it is illegal for an employer to treat the employees inappropriately afterwards.

Lawyers for labor law at Eldessouky Law commented on these results:
“It is discouraging to see how the high discrimination against workplaces is confronted throughout America. The work can be liquid for some, but due to racist, sexual or religious discrimination, stress can be relieved, and nobody should have to experience this at their workplace. ”
“In addition, it is unfortunate that retaliation is the most common type of discrimination in the workplace. Employers use their power and creating hard work environments for employees who have submitted formal discrimination complaints if the responsibility is to ensure the securing of all employees. ”
