Georgia Lynn Huddleston, Nana, 81, passed from this life to eternal life on Tuesday, November 14, 2023. Georgia was born on February 2, 1942 in Inglewood, California, the daughter of the late A. W. (Aldine) Herrington and Winnie Mae (Cox) Herrington. Survived by her sister, Carol Gober, and her brother, Rex Herrington.
Georgia is also survived by Don Huddleston, ex-husband/lifelong friend; her son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Loretta Huddleston of Weatherford, Texas; son, Doug Huddleston of O’Fallon, Missouri; four grandchildren, Holly Gray, (Eric) Heath Huddleston, (Joeli) Jordan Aulgur, (Simon) and Brooke Huddleston; three great-grandchildren, Ashlei Massey, Caleigh Gray and Maddy Huddleston; and many nieces and nephews.
Georgia retired as an administrative assistant and believed her greatest accomplishment was raising her two sons. She will be remembered for her love of family, her creativity and her inspiration.
Georgia loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was always excited watching them grow and achieve their goals in life.
Georgia was introduced to the world of bonsai plants by her grandson-in-law Eric Gray and developed a great passion for growing and studying these plants. She joined a bonsai group and enjoyed looking after her collection.
Georgia loved talking and socializing with lots of friends and family.
Georgia/Nana will be loved and missed by all who knew and loved her.
A graveside service will be held at Oakview Mullin Cemetery.
