Georgia E. Hickman, 96, of Salisbury, passed away Wednesday, November 15, 2023. She was born November 8, 1927 in Assawoman, Virginia, the daughter of the late Stacy Holland and the late Lula Jones Holland.
Georgia was a homemaker and enjoyed taking care of her family and others. She was a long-time member of Bates Memorial United Methodist Church. She volunteered with the Ladies Auxiliary of the Salvation Army and with the High Desert United Methodist Church.
Georgia is survived by his son, Lloyd Clayton (Harriett) Hickman Jr. of Delmar, MD; daughter-in-law, Nancy Jonson; granddaughter, Allison (Shaun) Lloyd of Delmar, MD; grandson Jared (fiancée Deena Peral) Hickman; Two great-granddaughters, Adelyn Lloyd and Olivia Lloyd of Delmar, MD.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 24, 2023 at Bates Memorial Cemetery. Burial will be in Bates Memorial Methodist Cemetery, Snow Hill, MD.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bates United Methodist Church.
