Georgia Eulalia Ramsay Caven, 60, died in Sandpoint, Idaho on June 16, 2021.
Georgia was born on April 10, 1961 in Hawthorne, California, to George and Eulalia Ramsay. In 1975 she moved to Sandpoint, Idaho, where she graduated from Sandpoint High School. At the young age of 17, she met the love of her life, Vern Caven, while riding the school bus. They married on May 12, 1979 and raised three sons, Rick, Michael and James.
Georgia helped run the family business Ace Septic Tank for 15 years and was known to many for her witty humor. Georgia was a strong-willed woman with a penchant for witches who was called Aunt Witchypoo by the family. She had a passion for her family and a protective vivacity that is second to none.
Georgia is survived by her husband, Vern; two sons, Rick and James; Mother and father, Eulalia and George Ramsay; Mother-in-law and father-in-law, Pam and Vern Caven; Granddaughter Camille; Grandchildren, Xander, Seth and Westin; Brothers Ray (Lisa), Al (Stacie), Robert (Ronda) and Carl (Jen); Brother-in-law Jeff (Dana); Sister-in-law Lisa; numerous nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog Tia. She died of her son Michael and sister Glennis.
On Saturday, June 19, a memorial service was held in the Coffelt funeral home with family and close friends. The funeral took place at Pinecrest Memorial Park, where she rests next to her son Michael and sister Glennis.
