Two electoral workers in Georgia lost their jobs after colleagues caught them destroying hundreds of voter registration forms. Fulton County’s election director Richard Barron said Monday the couple destroyed around 300 forms to be processed ahead of next month’s local elections. Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, known to oppose former President Donald Trump after telling Raffensperger to “find” enough ballot papers to undo President Joe Biden’s election victory in the state, made an angry statement about shredding the mold and urged the Justice Department to investigate. “After 20 years of documented failure in the Fulton County elections, Georgians are tired of waiting for the next embarrassing revelation,” Raffensperger said. “The Department of Justice needs to look closely at what Fulton County is doing and how its leadership disenfranchises Fulton voters through incompetence and wrongdoing.”
