A Georgia contractor has been charged with one repeat, one non-serious and one serious safety violation and faces a $46,550 fine after a worker suffered a fatal fall, the Labor Department announced Wednesday.
While installing metal roof panels on a building, a Landmark Erecting Inc. worker fell 12 feet onto a concrete slab and suffered fatal traumatic head injuries, the agency said.
