GOP lawmakers claim there was no riot and the Capitol riot looked like a normal tourist visit.
One Republican lawmaker is labeled “ridiculous” for claiming that not only was the January 6 attack on the Capitol not a riot, but that the footage from that day resembled a “normal tourist visit.” Rep. Andrew Clyde (R-Ga.) Alleged at a hearing on the riot on Wednesday that if supporters of former President Donald Trump stormed the Capitol to prevent the election results from being confirmed, it was not a riot and that there was a ” Lie “is” to say it was. “There was an undisciplined mob,” he said. “There were some rioters and some who committed vandalism.
