On behalf of the State Bar of Georgia, I would like to express my condolences to the family, colleagues, and many friends of David H. Gambrell, Senior Counsel at Baker Donelson in Atlanta, former United States Senator and fifth President of the State Bar of Georgia. after his death on May 7th at the age of 91.
Mr. Gambrell has been a member of the Georgia Bar since 1951. He began his legal career with King & Spalding and in 1963 co-founded his own law firm in Atlanta. The law firm Gambrell & Stolz merged with Baker Donelson and Mr. Gambrell in 2007 to continue serving as Senior Counsel, with practical experience in civil and business disputes, computer and intellectual property law, corporate, securities, real estate, international transactions and trusts and Estates.
