Georgia Anna Ladue

Georgia peacefully went to her eternal rest at UPMC Hanover on September 10, 2023 with her family by her side.
She was born Georgia Anna Kinney on September 1, 1940 in Sherrill, NY, the daughter of Mildred Bishop Kinney and Charles Kinney. She was the wife of Thomas Ladue, to whom she was married for 52 years and lived in York Springs.
She was known regionally and respected for her riding skills and leadership skills in the local equestrian community. She was involved in 4-H and was known for her love of animals. She worked as a paramedic in the emergency room at York Hospital for many years. But the role she loved most was that of wife and mother. Many others knew her as “Mom Ladue” because of her big heart and generous generosity.
She was preceded in death by her son, Raymond Ladue, and her daughter, Terry (Ladue) Carrozzino; her sister, Beverly Collins; and her nephew Kevin Collins.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas Ladue; daughter Pamela (Ladue) Neil and husband William; daughter, Toma (Ladue) Rutters; son, George Maxwell; beloved granddaughter Elizabeth Carrozzino; beloved grandchildren, Joshua Rutters and Jonathan Rutters; son-in-law Louis Carrozzino; and daughter-in-law Julie Fowble.
At her request, there will be no memorial service, but rather a celebration of life will take place at a later date.
Memorial donations may be made in her name to a charity of your choice.
